ABOUT ME

 

 

Hi, my name is Edward Nwakuche and I am a photographer. I have the best family in the world, a beautiful wife, a lovely son and wonderful daughter.

I got my first camera from my brother Odini. My journey to photography is a funny one. My wife and I have been in the fashion business for over 5 years. In Nigeria (where I am from) everyone is a photographer yet there are very few good photographers; they could not take the sort of fashion photos I wanted. I had to do them myself and that’s how I started.

 

I have great enthusiasm for wedding photography, and you’ll always find me with a smile on my face when I’m working. I got married myself some years ago, so I know how it feels to be on both sides of the camera. This makes it easy for me to connect with your feelings on your big day.

 

I was named Edward after my grandfather who passed on 2 years before I was born. But today if by chance I walk pass my grandfather on the street I can say that’s my grandfather. Now that’s the power of a photograph. I believe our pictures are our footprints. It’s the best way to tell people we were here.
